Formation and Fellowship

For more information about any of these fellowship or formation opportunities, please contact the Church Office at (423) 877-2428.

Adult Sunday School Class

St. Peter's offers several adult Christian formations throughout the year every Sunday at 9:30. These small groups may be led by clergy or members of the congregation and are generally guided by selected readings. These small groups encourage open conversation, community and fellowship.

In addition, St. Peter's routinely offers other special formation opportunities throughout the year which generally align with the liturgical calendar. This Advent, Lay Associate Minister Kelsey Aebi, led "Among the Roses: Exploring the Marian Devotion of the Rosary."

CREATE

CREATE is a fellowship and outreach opportunity for those interested in teaching and learning various crafts. Whether you are a crafter, or are seeking fellowship, everyone is welcome to join the conversation each Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Connor Library.

Centering Prayer

This group meets virtually on Tuesday evenings from 6:45-8:15 to engage in the contemplative practice of Centering Prayer. This ancient Christian discipline will quiet your mind and help you draw close to God.

Women’s Group

The St. Peter’s Women’s Group builds community through regular gatherings that include dinner, nights on the town, games, and book studies. The group typically meets once a month on rotating evenings, depending on season. Dates for meetings will be announced in Church and posted in the Friday Announcements. In 2024, attendees enjoyed a Lenten Women’s Retreat in Sewanee and another is scheduled for Lent 2025.

Men’s Group

The St. Peter’s Men’s Group gathers once a month for community building meals and activities. Dates for meetings will be announced in Church and posted in the Friday Announcements.
