I would say time is my biggest challenge these days as well. Regardless of what career you choose, the pendulum of time management stops for no one.

I agree with Ashleigh. It is important to recognize the effects that certain relationships have on your life. Making those kind of sacrifices can be the hardest especially when it comes to the health of your professional life. I think the biggest sacrifice I make is finding a balance between my ministry, personal, and professional lives.

Not so much a sacrifice, but taking a big risk and a leap of faith with starting a job that will eventually be 100% commission. The sacrifice is that for the first 90 days I do get a very small salary (less than I made 25 years ago) which is straining the family budget. The trade off is that I work for a company now that values balance, faith and family and discourages long hours so I trust it will all pay off in a few months.

Thanks for sharing Ashleigh. Would you say you expect that pressure to go away anytime soon?

Not listening to what the world told me to do. But really listening to my heart and looking at the things that I love to do. I love helping people, especially youth. From the age of five to seventeen, I feel like I can help and support that age group. I also had to get out of a relationship that would cause me to go down a career path that I did not want to go down. I really liked this person but he hindered my relationship with God because of his religious views. I am glad that ended because I am really able to build a stronger relationship with God and become what i have always wanted to become. A teacher.
